Repaero, Crawley

Allaero is a leading supplier of business aircraft parts located in Crawley, offering a wide range of services to support operators, maintenance facilities, and flight departments worldwide. In 2018, they launched Repaero, an in-house repair station offering specialist maintenance, overhaul, and testing services for various aircraft components.

Since launching, Repaero has grown significantly, and what was an in-house sub-division now needed a larger dedicated space to operate. Allaero explored all options, but it soon became clear that buying a new premises in such a desirable location for the aviation industry would prove costly. This is where Carnegie Group entered the discussions about extending their existing footprint. Our in-house architects drew up plans which re-purposed the existing parking area to accommodate a two-storey workshop and still provide parking with minimal loss of spaces. In terms of cost, creating a purpose-built extension was significantly lower in cost and the project was agreed.

The project included site surveys, building control applications to the local council and we used the existing building to inspire the new design, coordinating access within fire regulations and construction. Our team delivered a full turnkey solution that extended the steel structure to create storage space for deliveries. The project followed our process in full, from initial inquiry to the building work going live.

We communicated with Allaero throughout every step of the process, providing them with regular updates on project processes and timelines. The new warehouse space has all the additional storage capacity needed to optimise the area and scale up their business operations considerably.
