WALKING TO RAISE MONEY: OUR 15K FOR DAME VERA LYNN CHILDREN’S CHARITY.
We came across the Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity via the Gatwick Diamond Business Network and we are so glad we did. What they do is truly remarkable, providing support and care for children with cerebral palsy, chromosome abnormalities (such as Downs Syndrome) and rare genetic disorders (including Angelman Syndrome and Rett Syndrome).
When the opportunity arose to take part in Walk Together we put our best feet forward and signed up. We headed to the beautiful countryside around Haywards Heath with our walking boots and set off for the 15 km route.
Along the way we met with old friends, made new ones and then had a well-deserved BBQ at the finish line.
